Chelmsford Toastmasters provides a mutually supportive and positive learning environment that enables members to develop effective public speaking and leadership skills. Our organization is a member club of Toastmasters International, a nonprofit organization dedicated to helping men and women learn the arts of speaking, listening and thinking - vital skills that enhance one's communications skills and leadership potential.
Joining the Chelmsford Toastmasters club is easy! Those interested can attend meetings as a guest to observe the atmosphere and get an idea of what it is like to participate.
New members receive a welcome package that includes the first speaking and leadership manuals, along with instructional information to help plan your goals. An experienced member of the club can be assigned as a mentor to any new member who requests one. There is never any pressure to begin speaking at the lectern before you are ready.
For information on the communication and leadership tracks of the Educational Program, visit the Toastmasters International website and click on "What is Toastmasters", and scroll down to the "Educational Program" link. Following the communication program, the leadership program, or both, can give you the tools and experience you need to enhance your personal and professional life.
